High Voltage and Power Engineer | Ingenieur Hochspannungs- und Energietechnik (m/w/d)

Job Summary

This position, located in Berlin, is an excellent opportunity to join a global market leader in power engineering on a permanent, full-time basis (35 hours). As a High Voltage and Power Engineer, you will be responsible for independently conducting rigorous tests on high-voltage equipment and systems, ensuring strict adherence to all relevant norms, safety regulations, and testing guidelines. A core part of the role involves planning and overseeing the construction of test benches, coordinating activities within the testing field, and providing technical leadership to commercial employees. You will also be crucial in the continuous improvement of testing processes by developing and refining measurement circuits and operational tools. Furthermore, you will contribute to the digitalization and automation of testing procedures by developing calculation routines and tools, potentially utilizing MATLAB or VBA. The ideal candidate holds a degree in Electrical Engineering with a focus on Power or High Voltage Technology, possesses strong technical knowledge of high-voltage transmission equipment, and is prepared to work in a shift system (early and late shifts).
