Job Summary

This critical role involves taking overall technical and legal responsibility for essential infrastructure facilities and Technical Building Equipment (TBE/TGA) within the DB Fernverkehr AG maintenance depot in Munich. Day-to-day duties include ensuring the legally compliant operation of supply and disposal systems, water and sewage facilities, along with complex TBE like substations, transformer stations, and emergency power systems. You will coordinate and manage necessary maintenance and repair measures, acting as the primary technical liaison for internal departments and external service providers. Furthermore, you will contribute expert knowledge to new construction and conversion projects, spanning requirements definition, planning, procurement, and commissioning, ensuring all measures are implemented efficiently, economically, and on schedule. The ideal candidate holds a degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, or equivalent technical certification (Master Craftsman/Technician) combined with several years of relevant professional experience. Success requires strong communication, assertiveness, a structured working style, and the ability to analyze complex technical relationships to drive continuous improvement in asset management.
