Job Summary

This role, based in Kassel within the Infrastructure Services unit of K+S Aktiengesellschaft, involves taking a central position in the technological advancement of the company's Cloud Platform. The Cloud Engineer will be responsible for designing, building, and integrating requirements, primarily using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform), and actively participating in agile projects for developing Cloud Service implementations, particularly for AI and Data initiatives. Key responsibilities include ensuring operational stability, scalability, and security of cloud environments, and developing and optimizing CI/CD deployment processes using GitLab. The ideal candidate possesses a degree in Computer Science or equivalent, several years of practical experience as a Cloud or DevOps Engineer, and deep knowledge of cloud technologies (preferably AWS), containers (ECS, ECK), Identity & Access Management, and Cloud Security. Strong proficiency in both German and English (B2 level) is mandatory.
