Job Summary

This role involves comprehensive IT infrastructure management for a police headquarters, focusing on the planning, configuration, implementation, and maintenance of critical IT systems. The specialist will be responsible for administering virtualization environments (VMware and HyperV), managing Windows Servers, Active Directory, and Exchange, and ensuring system high availability and security compliance. A key aspect of the job is proactive monitoring, troubleshooting, and acting as Second-Level Support, bridging the gap between system administration and central technical teams. The ideal candidate has a degree in a STEM field or equivalent qualification, possesses strong skills in scripting languages (PowerShell, SQL), and advanced knowledge of network technology. This permanent, full-time position offers flexible working hours, the possibility of home office days after the initial training phase, and a meaningful job within a state police authority.

Required Skills

Education

Completed degree in a MINT (STEM) subject or a comparable qualification according to DQR Level 6 (Bachelor's equivalent)

Experience

  • Experience in error analysis and troubleshooting, ideally in Second or Third Level Support
  • Professional experience ensuring IT security and adherence to security standards
  • Experience in planning, configuration, implementation, migration, development, and maintenance of IT infrastructure
