Job Summary

This role is critical to shaping the energy transition in Bavaria by focusing on the transformation of the existing gas infrastructure into a future-proof, hydrogen-ready network. The Asset Manager will develop the comprehensive asset strategy for gas networks based on an overarching design encompassing electricity, gas, and hydrogen systems. Daily responsibilities include assessing the condition of network assets, driving the automated evaluation of analyses and key performance indicators, and focusing heavily on the modeling and digitalization of future infrastructure to achieve sustainable efficiency gains. The successful candidate will ensure the expansion and maintenance of the network under strict technical and economic constraints, contributing directly to H₂-readiness. Key qualifications include a university degree, preferably in Supply Engineering, Energy Technology, Mechanical Engineering, or Industrial Engineering, coupled with professional experience in the gas or energy sector and enthusiasm for digitalization and automation. Required Skills

Education

Successfully completed university degree, preferably in Supply Engineering, Energy Technology, Mechanical Engineering, or Industrial Engineering

Experience

  • Professional experience in the Gas or Energy Industry (ideally)
  • Knowledge of DVGW regulations (German Association for Gas and Water) (ideally)
  • Experience in developing innovative solutions
  • Experience in structured and deliberate execution of demanding tasks
