Job Summary
This role involves hands-on laboratory work, focusing on the preparation and analysis of various liquid and tissue samples, including human bodily fluids. The successful candidate will contribute to analytical services for customer studies, manage the production of test samples and buffer solutions, and perform quality control on incoming chemicals. A key aspect of the role is the organization, maintenance, and development of the preparation laboratory's infrastructure and processes, ensuring strict adherence to occupational safety and hygiene measures. The position also requires updating documentation in line with DIN EN ISO 9001 and 13485 quality management systems, making it ideal for a detail-oriented professional with a strong background in chemistry and laboratory practices.
Required Skills
Education
Completed training as a Chemical Technical Assistant (CTA), Chemical Laboratory Technician, or equivalent training in Bioscience or Chemistry (e.g., BTA, MTA)
Experience
- Experience in handling and preparing human bodily fluids and tissue samples
- Experience working in a Biosafety Level 2 (BSL-2) laboratory according to German Biostoffverordnung
- Knowledge of occupational safety and hygiene regulations
