Job Summary
This IT Specialist role, based in Karlsruhe, involves providing comprehensive IT support and consulting services for both internal staff and external clients of the Evangelical Regional Church in Baden. Day-to-day responsibilities include managing IT customer care, advising on the optimization of technical and organizational processes, and developing quality-enhancing, process-oriented services. A significant part of the job focuses on coordinating IT projects, such as setting up training and test environments, and automating processes. The specialist will also be responsible for configuring the KIDICAP interface for data transfer (e.g., eAU and time tracking systems), programming data exchange interfaces using Excel VBA, and handling monthly imports of payroll and eAU data. Key requirements include a degree in IT or Business Informatics, or relevant vocational training combined with several years of professional experience. Experience with HR/Payroll systems like KIDICAP or Loga, and knowledge of labor law (TVöD/NBG), are advantageous. Required Skills
Education
Completed degree in IT or Business (e.g., B.Sc. Business Informatics) OR completed vocational training in commercial, IT, or administrative fields.
Experience
- Several years of professional experience in commercial, IT, or administrative fields (required if vocational training is the highest qualification)
- Professional experience operating HR and Payroll systems (e.g., KIDICAP, Loga) (beneficial)
- Professional experience in Project Management (beneficial)
