Job Summary

The Change and Test Manager will be responsible for overseeing and continuously improving the ITIL-based Change Management process. Key daily tasks include analyzing change requests, tracking their progress, and preparing, moderating, and documenting the Change Advisory Board (CAB) meetings. Furthermore, the role involves comprehensive IT Test Management, including planning, coordinating, and accepting tests for IT systems. A core focus is on quality assurance within IT projects, developing test concepts, plans, and groups, and implementing test automation and tools. The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's or Diploma degree in Computer Science or Business Informatics, possesses experience in both IT Test Management and ITIL Change Management, and has knowledge of test management tools. This position offers an attractive, permanent contract with flexible working hours (including up to 3 days/week mobile work) and competitive public sector compensation (TVöD Entgeltgruppe 11), supporting the self-governing organization of German science.

Required Skills

Education

Completed Bachelor's or Diploma degree (FH), preferably in Computer Science, Business Informatics, or a MINT field. ISTQB knowledge is beneficial.

Experience

  • Professional experience in IT Test Management (planning, execution, documentation, acceptance)
  • Professional experience in Change Management according to ITIL
  • Experience with Test Management Tools
  • Experience with automated tests (advantageous)
