Job Summary

This role is for a Civil Engineer specializing in underground and civil works within the municipal administration of Strausberg, near Berlin. The successful candidate will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of public traffic areas and drainage systems, ensuring compliance with state regulations. Key responsibilities include acting as the client representative for planning and construction projects related to public transport facilities and drainage systems, participating in the awarding of construction and engineering contracts, and independently planning minor repair measures. You will also coordinate concession holders, update the general drainage plan, and calculate economic feasibility and follow-up costs. Candidates must hold a degree in Civil Engineering, preferably with a specialization in underground/road construction, or possess an equivalent qualification such as a certified civil engineering technician or master craftsman with interdisciplinary knowledge.
