Job Summary

This role involves leading technical support operations, focusing on the maintenance and optimization of modern production and assembly facilities at Diehl Metering GmbH in Apolda. Key responsibilities include ensuring the upkeep of machinery, actively troubleshooting and resolving malfunctions in control and regulation processes, and optimizing overall plant workflows. The Technical Lead also serves as the primary subject matter expert for the technical aspects of new machine procurement. Candidates must hold a professional qualification as a Technician in Electrical Engineering, Automation Technology, or an equivalent field. Crucially, the position requires several years of professional experience within an industrial setting. Ideal candidates will also possess specific programming knowledge related to PLC systems, as well as expertise in drive and control technology programming. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to a stable, family-owned company driving digital transformation, though the contract is initially limited to two years.
