Job Summary
This role involves managing the sustainable, legal, and economic operation of technical building equipment at the Neubrandenburg University of Applied Sciences. Key responsibilities include overseeing central and decentralized building control technology, such as heating, ventilation, sanitation, and climate control systems. The specialist will coordinate and provide technical support for the planning and modernization of these systems, optimizing operational concepts. A critical component of the job is managing the current Computer-Aided Facility Management (CAFM) system and potentially implementing a successor solution. Furthermore, the role requires designing, implementing, maintaining, and upholding a comprehensive Energy Management System. Candidates must hold a relevant university degree (e.g., Facility Management, Building Services Engineering, or Electrical Engineering) or possess a comparable technical qualification paired with significant professional experience in supply technology. Experience with CAFM software and energy management is highly advantageous.
Required Skills

University degree (Bachelor, Diplom-FH) in Building or Supply Technology, Facility Management, Technical Building Equipment, Building System Technology, Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a comparable qualification (e.g., certified technician or master craftsman degree)
Experience
- Professional experience in technical building equipment operation, focusing on sustainable, legal, and economic efficiency
- Professional experience in planning and modernizing technical facilities
- Professional experience with supply technology (required for those without a relevant degree)
- Experience with Siemens Desigo CC (advantageous)
- Experience with CAFM software (advantageous)
