Job Summary
This role is for a passionate Functional Safety Engineer who will ensure the safety-compliant development of electronics, primarily for the automotive industry. Day-to-day tasks involve verifying electronic development against ASPICE and ISO 26262 standards, deriving and specifying technical safety requirements, and advising on technical and functional safety concepts. The ideal candidate will also support the development of safety systems and prepare/conduct audits and assessments. This position offers the chance to work on exciting projects for leading OEMs and suppliers, contribute ideas, and benefit from continuous professional development in a supportive team environment.
Required Skills
Education
Technical degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or comparable qualification
Experience
- Experience in safety, system engineering, or system architecture
- Initial experience in quality assurance or development of safety-relevant electronics
- Experience in Functional Safety Management and/or Security (ISO 26262)
