Job Summary

This role involves the comprehensive management of accounts payable for several German entities within the Briloner Group, a leading European lighting provider. The Accounts Payable Accountant will be responsible for the entire process, including reviewing and approving coded incoming invoices, maintaining vendor master data, managing payment transactions, and reporting on open items. A key aspect of the job is supporting month-end and year-end closing activities, such as calculating accruals and provisions, and assisting with monthly sales tax pre-registrations. The position requires a completed commercial qualification and several years of professional experience in financial accounting. Candidates must possess good English skills (minimum B2 level) and experience with common ERP systems, preferably MS D365.
