Job Summary

This Development Engineer role focuses on supporting the critical Spacecraft Harness work package within Phases BCD of sophisticated space programs. Day-to-day responsibilities include analyzing customer and mission requirements to derive technical specifications, defining functional and physical electrical wiring, and creating detailed harness requirement specifications for external manufacturers. You will collaborate closely with Mechanical Engineering to define the geometric cable harness design and conduct essential analyses such as voltage drop, cable/connector derating, and mass estimation. The position requires a degree in Electrical, Aerospace, or Mechanical Engineering and initial professional experience in developing and manufacturing electrical interfaces and harnesses. This is an opportunity to contribute to complex aerospace innovations, requiring fluent proficiency in both German and English to manage supplier co-engineering and documentation.
