This role seeks an ambitious Theoretical Physicist specializing in Optics to drive the development and optimization of advanced optical systems, specifically focusing on lithography objectives. Key responsibilities include simulating and evaluating the physical-optical characteristics of these objectives, developing concepts for new optic designs, and performing detailed analysis and tolerance setting for complex optical systems. A crucial part of the job involves creating and maintaining simulation programs. Candidates should possess a degree in Physics or Mathematics (a PhD is highly advantageous) and strong foundational knowledge in technical or physical optics. While professional experience is key, familiarity with scripting languages like Perl and Python, alongside programming proficiency in C and C++, is highly desirable.
