Job Summary

This role seeks an ambitious Research Associate specializing in FPGA Design to drive innovation within complex development projects for leading IT solution providers. Day-to-day responsibilities include developing sophisticated FPGA designs for test and radio systems using hardware description languages like VHDL, and creating embedded software for integrated microcontrollers. The associate will actively manage and execute research and development projects, investigate new communication solutions, and conceptualize innovative technical ideas. A major component of the position involves scientific collaboration, requiring the candidate to publish research results, participate in international conferences, and contribute to national and international standardization bodies. The ideal candidate holds a university degree in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering, possesses strong knowledge of Xilinx FPGAs and VHDL, and has practical experience with measurement tools such as logic analyzers and oscilloscopes. Fluency in both German and English is mandatory for effective communication with research and industry partners.
