Job Summary

This role is for an ambitious and experienced Design Engineer specializing in automotive electrical systems, specifically wiring harnesses and cable assemblies. The successful candidate will be responsible for the 3D CAD design and optimization of wiring harnesses within the automotive sector. Key daily tasks include developing and optimizing components and cable routing, coordinating technical requirements with clients regarding assembly standards, and presenting design progress. You will also manage the introduction and coordination of new parts, investigate process capabilities, and contribute to the creation of technical specifications and documentation. The position requires a background in Electrical Engineering, Vehicle Technology, or Mechanical Engineering, coupled with practical experience in electrical system design and proficiency in CAD tools like Siemens NX or Catia V5.
