Day-to-day responsibilities involve performing meticulous visual inspections and dimensional checks, primarily focusing on the rigorous testing of welds and components. A core function is executing various Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) methods, including Ultrasonic Testing (UT), Magnetic Particle Testing (MT), Penetrant Testing (PT), and Visual Testing (VT). The successful candidate must meticulously ensure quality adherence based on technical drawings and specifications, followed by precise documentation of all testing procedures and results. Key requirements include a completed technical apprenticeship, ideally as a Materials Tester, coupled with practical experience in NDT and the mandatory DIN EN ISO 9712 Level 2 certification for relevant NDT methods.
