Job Summary

This role is centered on defining and implementing electrical requirements for networked modular machine systems. The Electrical Design Engineer will be responsible for selecting critical electrical components, including power supply, control, and safety systems. A core part of the job involves managing electrical data using tools like Solid Works Electrical and Siemens Teamcenter, ensuring all designs comply with international electrical safety standards, particularly IEC/UL61010. You will support safety reviews, assist with EMC testing, and coordinate internal or external electrical technicians. Success requires collaboration across cross-functional teams, representing the Mechatronics department, and technically leading various phases of the development process (ideation, feasibility, design control). This position is ideal for an ambitious professional looking to ensure quality and product safety in new development and product maintenance projects, requiring fluency in both German and English.
