Job Summary

This role as an IT Systems Administrator involves the crucial maintenance, development, and expansion of existing IT infrastructures for a leading European technology services platform. Day-to-day responsibilities include the installation and configuration of servers within Microsoft and Linux environments, managing user accounts and access rights, and ensuring thorough documentation of processes. A significant component of the job is providing Second and Third-Level Support and monitoring network clients, while also contributing to specialized projects related to IT security, system interfaces, and database development. Candidates must possess a completed apprenticeship as an IT Specialist for System Integration or an equivalent professional qualification. Essential qualifications include hands-on experience in server administration (Windows/Linux) and hardware/software setup. Basic knowledge of networking protocols (TCP/IP, VLAN) is desired, alongside initial exposure to database systems and IT security concepts. The position requires fluent German and good English skills.
