Job Summary

This position calls for an ambitious Scientist specializing in Downstream Processing to contribute to complex development projects within the Pharma and Life Science sectors. The core responsibility involves the development of downstream processes for recombinant cells and proteins. Day-to-day tasks include the independent planning, execution, and detailed evaluation of experiments, strictly adhering to Quality by Design (QbD) principles, and contributing to advanced experimental study designs like Design of Experiments (DoEs). You will be responsible for the setup, operation, and maintenance of sophisticated analytical and laboratory equipment used for techniques such as chromatography, filtration, and high-throughput flow cytometry. Candidates must possess a degree in a natural science field (e.g., Molecular Biology or Chemistry) and demonstrate proficiency in both German and English. This role offers the stability of a permanent contract and flexible working models, encouraging active participation and professional growth.

  • Professional experience in Downstream Processing

  • Experience using software for statistical analyses (e.g., JMP, R) and laboratory-specific software
