Job Summary

This permanent, full-time Data Scientist role focuses on developing sophisticated algorithms for the detection and classification of relevant signals within the company's proprietary measurement systems. A key responsibility is the continuous increase in automation of data evaluation by identifying and applying machine learning and pattern recognition techniques to support critical decision-making. You will serve as the crucial interface between measurement technology, software development, and data evaluation teams, often leading your own development projects in the area of data and algorithmics. The position requires a degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or Physics, coupled with fundamental expertise in algorithm development, statistical methods for model validation, and a strong physical understanding, particularly concerning non-destructive testing data. The ideal candidate must possess knowledge of statistical modeling, scientific computing, and general programming skills.
