Job Summary

This role offers a Bioprocess Engineer the opportunity to join Roche Diagnostics GmbH in Penzberg, focusing entirely on strategic process optimization and conceptual design within large-scale production. The core responsibilities involve evaluating new production concepts and scales, emphasizing both technical viability and economic efficiency (CapEx & OpEx). You will manage projects independently, collecting and analyzing complex datasets, performing technical calculations, and conducting scenario analyses across the entire process (e.g., USP and DSP). The ideal candidate holds a Master's degree in Bioprocess Development and possesses sound knowledge of Biologicals Production. Success requires expertise in process design, modeling, and balancing, coupled with advanced Excel skills and fluency in both German and English to proactively communicate findings and drive optimization projects forward.
