Job Summary

This Senior Data Engineer role is critical for driving data-driven decision-making across all business units within TeCreation, an IT start-up subsidiary of a leading German thermal group focused on wellbeing and tourism. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing complex data analysis, managing reporting requirements, and evolving a sophisticated central data model. Day-to-day tasks involve working with a modern data stack, specifically utilizing Snowflake for the data warehouse, dbt for modeling, and Amazon Quicksight for reporting. A key focus is integrating diverse data sources—including POS systems, web tracking, and full e-commerce customer journey data—into the central warehouse. The position requires multi-year experience in data engineering or architecture, deep SQL expertise, and familiarity with data governance and compliance (GDPR).
