Job Summary

This role involves working as an IT Service Technician specializing in monitoring IT applications within a production environment in Braunschweig. The core responsibility is ensuring continuous monitoring and operating duties in a 24x7 mode. Day-to-day tasks include acting as the Single Point of Contact (SPoC) for all incoming communications (calls, emails, faxes), documenting operating processes, and managing the entire lifecycle of incoming tickets—qualifying, classifying, prioritizing, and documenting them. A critical function is the continuous surveillance of selected systems, immediate recognition and isolation of system warnings and faults, and swift response to security incidents. The ideal candidate possesses a completed vocational qualification in IT, practical experience in implementing service concepts, and proficiency in Second Level Support for hardware and software troubleshooting. This is a full-time, permanent position starting via temporary employment with a strong option for permanent takeover.

Required Skills

Education

Completed vocational training in the IT sector (e.g., IT Specialist for System Integration, IT System Electronics Technician, or IT System Salesperson)

Experience

  • Professional experience in implementing service concepts and established processes
  • Professional experience in troubleshooting hardware and software within Second Level Support
