Job Summary

This role is for an experienced and qualified professional to take on the Team Lead position for Building Services Technology at the iconic “Dortmunder U” facility. You will be entrusted with the leadership and management of a four-person team, ensuring the continuous functionality, operational safety, and cost-effective maintenance of this specialized technical property. Day-to-day responsibilities include administrative duties, such as overseeing goal-oriented and cost-optimized management of building structures, coordinating necessary maintenance with users, and supervising both in-house technical staff and external contractors. The role also requires hands-on involvement in essential maintenance tasks. Key qualifications include a background as a certified Technician or Master Craftsman in a technical/manual trade, proven experience in technical building equipment (especially MCR, climate, and ventilation technology), and familiarity with managing specialized real estate.
