Job Summary

This role involves providing technical support and ensuring the operational availability of complex industrial systems and equipment within a major client environment in the Duisburg area. The engineer will be responsible for the maintenance, repair, and documentation of work performed, focusing heavily on analyzing technical plant downtimes and developing robust solutions. A core function is initiating and implementing technical modifications to machinery and systems to optimize processes, coordinating specific projects aimed at improving plant availability, and deriving continuous improvement measures. The ideal candidate holds a degree in Electrical or Automation Engineering, coupled with at least three years of professional experience in an industrial electrical engineering setting. Success requires strong knowledge of relevant standards (DIN, VDE), excellent German and good English proficiency, and a high degree of responsibility and service-orientation.
