This role seeks a System Engineer with a strong focus on Safety to ensure compliance and robust safety standards within Electronic Warfare systems. Day-to-day responsibilities include managing systems safety, ensuring adherence to environmental product specifications for internal teams, customers, and suppliers. You will be tasked with evaluating safety-relevant system aspects, analyzing requirements, and developing project-specific safety planning documentation. A core function is defining, verifying, and validating safety requirements, while also advising technical leadership and project management on critical issues such as machine safety, functional safety, and Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC). The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's degree in a relevant technical field and possesses long-term practical experience applying established safety norms. Required Skills

Education

Completed Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Physics, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Telecommunications, or a comparable field

Experience

  • Long-term practical experience in implementing safety requirements according to established safety standards
  • Deep knowledge in Electronic Warfare or Radar technology
  • Formal training in general system safety (e.g., MIL-STD-882, IEC 61508)
  • Additional training in at least one relevant functional safety norm (e.g., ARP 4754, ARP 4761)
