Job Summary

This full-time, temporary position at Roche Diagnostics GmbH in Penzberg offers the opportunity to specialize in complex clinical diagnostics within an international, English-speaking team. The primary responsibilities include performing intricate histopathological techniques on clinical samples and conducting and evaluating liquid biopsy tests, such as serum, plasma, and CSF, utilizing automated laboratory systems and immunoassays. A critical component of the role is the defined processing of clinical samples within a LIMS-based environment, ensuring all work and documentation strictly adhere to clinical laboratory quality standards. Candidates must hold a Master's or Bachelor's degree in Biology, Biotechnology, or a related Life Science field. Required competencies include self-reliant work habits, strong computer proficiency (including Google Workspace and LIS), and fluent communication skills in both English and German. While specific prior experience is flexible, a background in regulated clinical or diagnostic laboratory operations is highly desirable, with the potential for permanent employment takeover by Roche.
