Job Summary

This role involves working as a Production Specialist within the chemical industry at BASF SE in Ludwigshafen, focusing on operational support and material handling in a rotating shift system. Day-to-day tasks include preparing and transporting various containers (pallets, drums, BigBags), sampling, filling intermediate containers, and preparing finished goods for dispatch (labeling, cleaning, stretching). The specialist will also handle the transport of materials between production, storage, and the laboratory, manage waste disposal, and perform routine cleaning and organization of production areas. Key qualifications include a completed vocational training as a Chemical Production Specialist or Machine and Plant Operator, or equivalent professional experience, ideally within the chemical sector. Good German language skills are required, along with experience in safely handling hazardous materials.
