Cloud Security Engineer | IT Administrator (m/w/d)

Job Summary

This role within the Cloud Center of Excellence (CCoE) at the German Pension Insurance focuses on ensuring secure, efficient, and innovative use of multi-cloud solutions. The engineer will be responsible for developing and implementing uniform Cloud Security policies, specifically creating and maintaining a robust governance and compliance framework for multi-cloud services. Day-to-day tasks involve advising specialist departments on strategic cloud planning, data protection, and IT security matters, as well as conducting compliance and risk management activities, including regular incident reporting and deriving strategic recommendations. A key component of the role is organizing and conducting training and awareness measures for employees regarding proper cloud service usage. Candidates must possess a university degree (Bachelor or equivalent) in IT/IT Security or relevant vocational training combined with extensive professional experience. Several years of relevant experience in cloud security, with a focus on cloud compliance, and proven project experience are mandatory, along with fluent German skills.
