Job Summary
This role involves managing complex public law permitting processes for renewable energy projects, including wind farms, solar PV plants, and Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS), within ENGIE Deutschland. The Permitting Manager will be responsible for steering procedures according to the Federal Immission Control Act (BImSchG) and the Federal Building Code (BauGB), ensuring compliance with all relevant legislation. Key daily tasks include selecting and managing expert consultants for environmental assessments and mapping, preparing official application documents, and coordinating closely with regulatory authorities throughout the approval process. The ideal candidate holds a degree in fields such as Biology, Environmental Planning, or Renewable Energies, possesses professional experience in permitting or project management for infrastructure, and demonstrates strong knowledge of planning procedures and environmental expert reports. This position is crucial for advancing Germany's transition to a sustainable, climate-neutral future.

Experience
- Professional experience in permitting management
- Professional experience in renewable energy/infrastructure project management
- Professional experience in municipal landscape planning
- Knowledge of planning procedures (BImSchG, Bauleitplanung)
- Experience in processing environmental expert reports (UVP reports, landscape conservation plans)
