Job Summary

This role seeks a skilled Maintenance Electrician or Electronics Technician to ensure the operational readiness of production facilities for a major global client in Steinau an der Straße. Day-to-day responsibilities involve performing scheduled maintenance, rapidly troubleshooting faults in semi- and fully automated systems, and controlling critical safety infrastructure like fire alarm and electrical systems. You will also manage external contractors, replace faulty components, and document all maintenance activities and plans. Key qualifications include completed vocational training in a relevant technical field (Electrician, Electronics Technician, or Mechatronics Technician) and strong practical expertise in automation technology, specifically with Siemens S7 and Beckhoff controls, as well as frequency converters. The ability to read and sketch technical drawings and circuit diagrams, combined with knowledge of current labor and safety regulations, is essential.
