Job Summary

This position requires a meticulous and responsible Laboratory Technician to support the Urine Analysis department. Day-to-day tasks involve the critical initial steps of sample handling, including the registration of various biological samples (urine, blood, and post-mortem material) into the laboratory database. The role includes conducting preliminary immunochemical analyses, which involves preparing and maintaining the necessary equipment and performing troubleshooting. A major responsibility is the preparation of samples for advanced analysis using LC-MS/MS, followed by the operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of the LC-MS/MS instruments themselves. Finally, the technician is responsible for the precise evaluation of measurement results and thorough electronic documentation. Candidates must hold a completed scientific/technical qualification (such as CTA, PTA, BTA, or Chemical Laboratory Assistant) and ideally possess 1-2 years of experience in laboratory analysis. The role offers flexible part-time (20-30 hours) or full-time work with no weekend or shift duties.

Completed training/qualification in a scientific field (e.g., Chemical Technical Assistant (CTA), Pharmaceutical Technical Assistant (PTA), Biological Technical Assistant (BTA), Chemical Laboratory Assistant, or comparable qualification)
