Job Summary

This full-time, permanent position as a Materials Tester at Siemens Energy in Berlin-Spandau involves the critical inspection of metallic materials. Day-to-day tasks include performing various non-destructive testing (NDT) methods such as hardness testing (Brinell, Vickers, Rockwell), spectrometry (Optical Emission Spectrometer), Ultrasound Testing (UT), Magnetic Particle Inspection (MT), and Dye Penetrant Inspection (PT). The role requires timely processing of incoming goods according to technical drawings and internal/external specifications, and meticulous documentation of all inspection results using SAP. Candidates must possess completed vocational training as a Materials Tester or equivalent, coupled with professional experience in incoming goods inspection or quality assurance. Success in this role demands high quality awareness, proficiency in reading technical norms and drawings, and a willingness to work in a three-shift system.
