This Service Technician role is based in Zwickau, focusing on the maintenance and repair of traction and emergency power battery systems used in rail vehicles. The core responsibilities include conducting detailed findings, comprehensive fault analyses, and performing repairs on advanced Lithium and FNC rail battery systems. Day-to-day tasks involve executing capacity tests, replacing defective battery cells, and ensuring meticulous technical documentation is created and fed back into the maintenance system. Candidates must possess a completed technical qualification, such as an Electronics Technician or Mechatronics Technician, and fundamental knowledge of various battery technologies, including NiCd, Lead-Acid, and Lithium-Ion. Crucially, the role requires certification as a Skilled Electrician for Live Work (AuS). Required Skills

Education
