Job Summary

This pivotal role as Facility Manager involves comprehensive strategic planning, coordination, and monitoring of all maintenance, renovation, and technical infrastructure activities across the production and administrative sites of a leading international mechanical engineering company in the pharmaceutical technology sector. You will hold full budget responsibility for facilities, assets, and systems, driving the strategic maintenance planning and managing the entire product lifecycle and maintenance cycles of buildings and technical installations. A crucial aspect of the job is leading and coordinating complex expansion, renovation, and refurbishment projects, ensuring operational safety, and optimizing building operation concepts. Furthermore, you will manage all technical building contracts and coordinate external service providers. This position offers high autonomy, significant scope for introducing your own ideas, and the opportunity to collaborate with Global HQ and EMEA teams within a dynamic, growing international environment. Success requires a technical degree and proven leadership experience in facility management, ideally within a highly regulated industrial setting.

Required Skills

Education

Completed University Degree in Civil Engineering, Building Technology, or Facility Management, complemented by further education in FM

Experience

  • Long-term professional experience in a similar leadership position
  • Proven professional experience as a Safety Officer in technical Facility Management of production facilities and buildings
  • Background in the producing/technical industry, ideally within a highly regulated environment (e.g., cleanroom production)
  • Experience in leading and coordinating technical expansion and renovation projects
