Job Summary

This role involves joining a forward-thinking team in the maritime industry, based in Flintbek, focusing on the development and implementation of complex network infrastructures. The System Engineer will be responsible for one or more subsystems within system development projects, with a strong emphasis on network infrastructure. Daily tasks include developing robust system concepts, analyzing architectures to select optimal solutions, and creating detailed network, server, and virtualization concepts tailored to customer requirements and industry standards. A core responsibility is the creation and maintenance of crucial technical documentation, such as system specifications and interface documents. The ideal candidate must hold a degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field, possess professional experience in network, server, or virtualization technologies, and be proficient in both Windows and Linux environments. Strong communication skills and negotiation-fluent English are essential for successful technical coordination with subcontractors and international clients.
