Job Summary

This demanding position, based in central Zurich, requires a dedicated Network & Security Engineer to manage and engineer both national and international network infrastructure, which is exclusively Cisco-based. A primary focus of the role is Network Security, specifically managing firewall systems (Fortinet/Fortigate), Web-Proxy, and E-Mail Security solutions (including Seppmail and Cisco). Day-to-day tasks include system maintenance, administration, project consulting for network provider upgrades, and maintaining comprehensive system documentation. Furthermore, you will provide critical 2nd and 3rd level network support, assisting departments with technical inquiries. The ideal candidate possesses a completed IT qualification, is a proven Cisco Specialist (CCNA/CCNP certification is a plus), and must have essential experience with Fortinet security products.
