Job Summary

The Deputy Head of IT will play a crucial role in shaping and executing the IT strategy for a leading, family-owned machine manufacturing company. Day-to-day responsibilities include leading and managing IT projects, focusing on resource and time planning, and ensuring robust IT security through the development and implementation of comprehensive concepts. The role involves optimizing the existing IT infrastructure, managing IT budgets, and acting as the primary internal contact point and external interface for all IT-related matters. A successful candidate will possess a degree in Computer Science or equivalent technical qualification, coupled with multi-year experience managing entire IT landscapes. Fluency in German and very good English skills are mandatory, alongside deep knowledge of network/server administration and IT security standards.
