Job Summary

This role offers a motivated student or laboratory professional the opportunity to gain deep insights into the processes of a large family company by joining the Central Laboratory team in Rheine. The primary responsibilities involve conducting crucial laboratory analyses for multiple sites, including nutritional analysis (e.g., fat and protein content), water analysis, and allergen analysis using ELISA methods. Day-to-day tasks include meticulous sample preparation and drawing, documenting analysis results accurately, and ensuring the cleanliness and maintenance of laboratory equipment. Furthermore, the position supports the management team by assisting in the creation and revision of technical documentation, supporting the introduction of new analytical methods, and managing inventory by ordering necessary chemicals and consumables. Candidates should possess laboratory training, such as a Chemical Laboratory Technician qualification, or be pursuing a degree in Chemistry or a comparable field, coupled with basic IT skills and a reliable, team-oriented work ethic.
