Job Summary

This role involves actively shaping the future infrastructure of the district town of Steinfurt by driving sustainable road planning and civil engineering projects. The successful candidate will independently manage the planning and implementation of new construction and maintenance measures for municipal roads (Phases 1-9, local construction supervision, HOAI). Key responsibilities include collaborating closely with engineering firms, managing tendering, awarding, construction supervision, acceptance, and billing for civil engineering services, and overseeing development projects related to urban land use. Candidates must hold a degree (Diploma, Bachelor, or Master) in Road/Civil Engineering or a comparable field, possess extensive technical knowledge of urban water management, and be proficient with MS Office, GIS, and CAD systems.
