Job Summary

This role seeks an experienced IT System Administrator to manage and evolve the company's critical hybrid IT infrastructure, focusing heavily on Microsoft 365 and Linux server environments (including Ubuntu and Debian). Day-to-day responsibilities include ensuring high system availability, executing essential maintenance tasks like backups, updates, and patch management, and providing crucial 2nd-level support to internal users. The administrator will also be key in monitoring system performance, analyzing faults, documenting IT systems and processes, and supporting larger IT projects and rollouts. Candidates must possess a relevant IT qualification, such as an IT Specialist for System Integration, coupled with professional experience, ideally within a manufacturing setting. Essential technical knowledge spans networking technologies (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN), virtualization, and Mobile Device Management. Success in this position requires strong communication skills, team spirit, and fluency in German, alongside good English proficiency.
