Job Summary
This pivotal leadership role involves heading the High Voltage Power Transformer Test Field at the new Siemens Energy Transformers Repair Center in Linz, Austria. The successful candidate will be responsible for the strategic planning, development, and execution of power transformer testing, ensuring strict adherence to established standards (IEC/IEEE) and customer specifications. Daily tasks include coordinating all logistical aspects of testing, such as equipment certification, maintenance, procurement, and scheduling to meet delivery timelines. A core function is personnel management, requiring the Head to lead, develop, and ensure the specialist knowledge of the team while driving business process improvements. Candidates must possess a university degree in engineering or equivalent, combined with extensive hands-on experience (10+ years) in high voltage testing and proven leadership experience (5+ years) in personnel management. The position requires proficiency in both English and German for effective international collaboration.
