Job Summary

This role involves supporting the operational management of the entire power distribution network, spanning from 110 kV high-voltage down to the low-voltage network, including rail power and generation facilities. Day-to-day tasks include managing fault location and disturbance management, independently planning and executing technical projects, and contributing to current digitalization initiatives. The engineer will be responsible for creating specifications and tender documents for technical equipment, services, and maintenance contracts, as well as leading and coordinating construction sites. Key requirements include a degree in Electrical or Energy Technology, several years of relevant professional experience, and strong knowledge of high-voltage systems, heavy current installations, and network construction standards. The position requires a structured, results-oriented approach and readiness for on-call and standby duties, offering diverse, future-oriented tasks within a motivated team.

Completed education/degree in Electrical Engineering or Energy Technology (HTL, TU, FH equivalent)

Experience

  • Several years of relevant professional experience in Electrical Engineering, preferably Energy Technology or Network Operations
  • Experience in project handling and project management
  • Professional experience in high-voltage system, heavy current installation, and network construction (standards, overhead lines, cables, switchgear, transformers, operational management)
