Job Summary

We are seeking a passionate Automation Technician ready to design, develop, and optimize bespoke automated systems to enhance industrial performance. In this role, you will manage the full lifecycle of automation solutions, including custom integration, commissioning, and ensuring the long-term reliability of automated equipment. Key responsibilities involve programming and optimizing Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) and Human-Machine Interfaces (HMIs), conducting routine maintenance, diagnostics, and implementing continuous improvements across installations. You will collaborate closely with production and engineering teams to guarantee secure and efficient processes. The ideal candidate holds foundational training in automation or industrial systems (such as a Higher Technical College Diploma) and possesses solid experience in a high-precision industrial environment. Proficiency with Beckhoff/TwinCAT 3 and CAD tools like SolidWorks is essential, and technical English skills are considered a valuable asset.

Required Skills

Education

Basic training in automation or industrial systems (Federal Certificate of Competence, Higher Technical College Diploma (ES), or equivalent). A Federal Diploma or Advanced Federal Diploma is required.

Experience

  • Solid professional experience in an industrial environment, ideally within high-precision fields
  • Experience in designing and integrating custom automation solutions
  • Experience in commissioning and ensuring the reliability of automated equipment
  • Professional experience in maintenance, diagnostics, and continuous improvement of installations
