Job Summary

This role is for a dedicated Software Developer specializing in Automatic Test Systems, joining the team at HENSOLDT in Ulm, a world-leading provider of premium sensor technology. The successful candidate will be responsible for the full lifecycle of software development, including creating drivers for integration into overall systems and developing essential tools and support software outside the main framework. Key daily tasks involve coordinating the comprehensive development of software with diverse functions, translating internal and external requirements into module functionalities, and actively participating in code reviews. Furthermore, the role requires creating detailed design and test specifications, redesigning complex modules following functional changes, and meticulously documenting software in both German and English. The ideal applicant must hold a degree in Physics, Electrical Engineering, or Computer Science, possess professional experience with the NI Toolchain (such as LabVIEW and TestStand), and demonstrate strong proficiency in measurement technology.
