Job Summary
This is a unique opportunity for a qualified Electrical Master Technician to join the German Civil Service (Werkdienst) at the newly established correctional facility in Marktredwitz, starting February 2, 2026. The role begins with an intensive 18-month preparatory service, involving theoretical and practical training blocks at the Bavarian Justice Academy in Straubing and the JVA St. Georgen-Bayreuth, while holding the status of a civil servant on revocation. Upon successful completion of the qualification exam and meeting all civil service prerequisites, the candidate will be appointed as a Senior Foreman/Master Craftsman (Oberwerkmeister, Salary Group A 7) on August 1, 2027. Day-to-day responsibilities will involve managing and maintaining electrical systems within the new building complex, offering diverse tasks and significant personal responsibility within a highly motivated team environment.
