Automation Technician / PLC Programmer | Techniker Automation (m/w/d)

Job Summary

This role is ideal for an experienced Electronics or Mechatronics professional, preferably with advanced training as a Master Craftsman or Technician, seeking a challenging position focused on automation and control systems. The primary responsibilities involve providing remote technical support, including fault diagnosis and resolution for sawing machines and systems using phone and visual assistance. Key tasks include instructing customer personnel on fault clearance, providing comprehensive technical support, and preparing detailed technical quotations and proposals. Furthermore, the technician will prepare service assignments for field technicians and handle the parameterization of replacement devices. The ideal candidate possesses experience commissioning and repairing machine tools, strong knowledge of Siemens PLC systems (S5, S7, TIA), excellent customer service skills, and fluency in German (C2) and good English (B1) proficiency.
