Job Summary

This expert role focuses on elevating technology and driving innovation within industrial automation, specifically supporting the shift to Industry 4.0 and the digitalization of production processes. The PLC Programmer is responsible for the development and programming of PLC applications for industrial automation systems in special machine construction, plant engineering, and conveying technology. Daily tasks include the programming and commissioning of systems using platforms such as Siemens S7, TIA Portal, and Beckhoff, as well as testing, troubleshooting controls, and documenting technical changes. Successful candidates must hold a degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation Technology, or Mechatronics (or equivalent technical qualification) and demonstrate professional experience with various automation systems like Step 7, TIA Portal, or Codesys.
